Have you ridden the Singapore Flyer or the London Eye giant Ferris wheel? If not, ever wondered what it would feel like to climb aboard these awesome structures and check out the view?
Wonder no more because the Philippines will have its own giant Ferris wheel – the Sky Eye in Tagaytay, one of the rides at the new Sky Fun amusement park.
Tagaytay’s Sky Eye was featured on ‘Umagang Kay Ganda (UKG)’ this week giving many of its viewers a first glimpse of the biggest Ferris wheel in the Philippines.
The Sky Eye will have thirty-two air-conditioned gondolas that can accommodate four people. And, at 63 meters at its highest point, it will give riders a breathtaking view of Taal Lake Na Taal Volcano below.
No word yet on when the Sky Eye will be open to the public, or how much a ride will cost. But no matter how much it is, we are sure the view and the experience will be all worth it.
By the way, we hope the Sky Eye is built well because we just can’t help but think how it will fare against the strong winds of a typhoon. Adobo Talk PH
