After rumors of a resignation and non-renewal of his contract were denied, Willie Revillame announced this afternoon the Wowowillie will end in October. According to Revillame, he will just wait for his contract to expire and take a well-deserved vacation.
Willie Revillame said he has already written to TV5 chairman Manny V. Panglinan asking for a vacation after his contract expires in October, and it looks like his request will be approved.
“Ang last day of my contract ay October 15. Maybe October 12 will be the last show ng Wowowillie."
It had been rumored that Willie abruptly filed his resignation after he found out that TV5 will no longer renew his contract. Poor ratings of Wowowillie is reportedly the reason why it will no longer be renewed. On top of this, Willie Revillame is allegedly asking for a talent fee of P90 million a month.
With this development, it looks like the rumor was true, after all. Adobo Talk PH
