Potential Storm Off Palawan Monitored by PAGASA as 'Bagyong Dante' Moves Away

'Bagyong Dante' is now on its way towards the general direction of Japan but a new weather system is being monitored by the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) near Palawan.


According to PAGASA, itis sjust a cloud formation at present but it may develop into a low pressure area (LPA) and eventually into a storm when it intensifies. If it does, it will be given the name 'Emong.'

In the meantime, Metro Manila will still experience patches of rain and some thunderstorms in the afternoon or early evening.

'Bagyong Dante'is expected to leave the Philippine areaof responsibility by late today or early Tuesday.  Adobo Talk PH
