The Quezon City government has suspended classes on Monday, July 22, due to the State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Noynoy Aquino at the Batasang Pambansa. Classes are suspended in all public and private elementary and high schools.
The 4th SONA of PNoy is expected to draw a large crowd of supporters and protesters to the Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City. As a result, and based on previous years, traffic in Quezon City will be affected.
Meanwhile, the city government has left it to school officials and the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) whether to suspend classes in the university level.
