'Bagyong Labuyo': Typhoon Signals Lowered as 'Labuyo' Exits PH

'Labuyo,' which intensified into a typhoon overnight, is the 12th cyclone to enter the Philippines this year and the second for the month. Typhoon "LABUYO" has intensified further as it moves away from the country.

According to PAGASA, as of 10:30 PM today, typhoon Labuyo was at 290 km West of Laoag City or 350 km Northwest of Baguio City. It has maximum winds of 160 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 195 kph.

'Bagyong Labuyo' continue to move out of the Philippines and is expected to be out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility later tonight. All storm signals have been lowered.

Typhoon "LABUYO" will continue to enhance the Southwest Monsoon which will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains over Western section of Southern Luzon and Visayas.

Residents in low lying and mountainous areas are still are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides. Adobo Talk PH
