How much will the iPad Air be in the Philippines? And when will it be released? Same goes for the iPad Mini 2. These questions echoed in social media today after the official unveiling of Apple's new tablets in California. However, they remained unanswered. Officially, that is.
Apple has not released an official price list and release date for the Philippines for the new iPads. But leave it to the grey market to fill this gap. Almost immediately, grey market sites posted their estimated prices for the iPad Air and iPad Mini 2 in the Philippines.
PH prices range from P23,000 to P41,000 for the iPad Air, and P18,000 to P37,000 for the iPad Mini with Retina display.
The new iPads will be available in space grey (black front) and silver (white front), and in Wi-Fi & Wi-Fi + LTE versions. There will also be more storage options for the iPad Air and iPad Mini 2 - from the previous 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions, it will now also be available in 128GB!
