Number coding has been suspended in Paranaque City since the scheme was started all over Metro Manila some years ago. Only a few traffic-prone roads had number coding in the city - San Antonio Avenue near the city hall, portions of the SLEX service roads, etc.
But now, with the implementation of City Resolution No. 16-057 Series of 2016, ALL ROADS will be under number coding from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with NO WINDOW HOURS for private vehicles from Monday to Friday.
Further, number coding for trucks will be in effect from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM likewise from Monday to Friday.
UPDATE: Sources at city hall say implementation of the number coding has been moved to NOVEMBER 3; with WINDOW HOURS from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
UPDATE #2: Here is the OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT of the number coding scheme in Paranaque as posted on Mayor Edwin Olivarez's Facebook page:
There is no number coding during holidays all over Metro Manila.
Traffic has been very heavy in Paranaque, especially along Sucat Road, in recent months ever since the truck ban was lifted. Moreover, Maynilad's new sewage system diggings along Sucat Road has further aggravated the situation. Adobo PH Today | Image via Facebook
